Make your own Foaming hand soap at home from organic natural ingredients and ditch the toxins from your bathroom. I am summarizing the key benefits of making this soap along with recipe below.
I grew up washing my hands with SoftSoap but never bothered reading the ingredients and how toxic they are. Have you read them and researched? I would like to challenge all of you to do that.
Let me take a step back and share what are the bad toxic chemical to avoid. Below is the list. These chemicals are endocrine disrupters (they may mess up your hormones) and may lead to chronic diseases. There have been many studies proving this so it is safe to just avoid them and use natural products as much as possible.

If you find your hand soap containing any of the above ingredients, I advice you to ditch that RIGHT AWAY. I looked up on SoftSoap website and sharing the snapshot below along with Link to their website listing all the ingredients.

I was shocked when I found this out. My mind was blown that why didn't I do research before!? Also check out the documentary STINK if you haven't.
I did my research and decided to make my own hand soap using Dr. Bronner's concentrate. Look at how clean the ingredients are (image below). All natural and environmentally friendly. Their flavors come from natural ingredients like essential oils. I can easily make 10-12 8oz hand soap bottles from 25 oz concentrate which is about $13. this means each bottle is about $1-1.25 which is just how much SoftSoap bottles cost.

Making DIY Natural Hand Soap is very EASY and here is how you make it:
Take used empty foaming soap bottle (or buy from Amazon). You also use regular soap bottle if you don't like foaming soap. I personally prefer Foaming over regular.
Fill up 1/4 of the container with the Dr Bronner's container
Fill up all they way with water
Notes
- You can add 1-2 drops of Thieves or Lemon Essential oils if desired.
- I noticed that buying Dr Bronner's from Target or Walmart is cheaper than Amazon.
Please be mindful of Ingredients when you buy products and Happy Non Toxic Life!
